Lilium occidentale, commonly known as western lily, is a perennial bulbiferous herb in the Liliaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Bogs and fens, Coastal bluff scrub, Coastal prairie, Coastal scrub, Marshes and swamps (freshwater), and North Coast coniferous forest (openings), growing at elevations from 2 to 185 meters. Lilium occidentale is ranked 1B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.
