Species Description:

Ribes viburnifolium, commonly known as Santa Catalina Island currant, is a perennial evergreen shrub in the Grossulariaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, and Cismontane woodland, growing at elevations from 30 to 350 meters. Ribes viburnifolium is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
