Species Description:

Wyethia elata, commonly known as Hall's wyethia, is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 1000 to 1400 meters. Wyethia elata is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
