Species Description:

Nemacladus twisselmannii var. twisselmannii, commonly known as Twisselmann's nemacladus, is a annual herb in the Campanulaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Upper montane coniferous forest (granitic, and sandy or rocky), growing at elevations from 2240 to 2450 meters. Nemacladus twisselmannii var. twisselmannii is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
