Taxon Summary:

Rosa pinetorum, commonly known as pine rose, is a perennial shrub in the Rosaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, and Closed-cone coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 2 to 945 meters. Rosa pinetorum is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
