Species Description:

Deinandra clementina, commonly known as island tarplant, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Asteraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Coastal bluff scrub, and Valley and foothill grassland, growing at elevations from 15 to 200 meters. Deinandra clementina is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
