Species Description:

Streptanthus howellii, commonly known as Howell's jewelflower, is a perennial herb in the Brassicaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Lower montane coniferous forest (rocky, and serpentinite), growing at elevations from 305 to 1500 meters. Streptanthus howellii is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
