Species Description:

Viburnum ellipticum, commonly known as oval-leaved viburnum, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Viburnaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, Cismontane woodland, and Lower montane coniferous forest, growing at elevations from 215 to 1400 meters. Viburnum ellipticum is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
