Species Description:

Sabulina stricta, commonly known as bog sandwort, is a perennial herb in the Caryophyllaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Alpine boulder and rock field, Alpine dwarf scrub, and Meadows and seeps, growing at elevations from 2440 to 3960 meters. Sabulina stricta is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
