Species Description:

Amsinckia lunaris, commonly known as bent-flowered fiddleneck, is a annual herb in the Boraginaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Cismontane woodland, Coastal bluff scrub, and Valley and foothill grassland, growing at elevations from 3 to 500 meters. Amsinckia lunaris is ranked 1B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
