Taxon Summary:

Monardella viridis, commonly known as green monardella, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Lamiaceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Broadleafed upland forest, Chaparral, and Cismontane woodland, growing at elevations from 100 to 1010 meters. Monardella viridis is ranked 4.3, Plants of Limited Distribution, A Watch List; Not very threatened in California.
