Species Description:
Adolphia californica, commonly known as California adolphia, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Rhamnaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Chaparral, Coastal scrub, and Valley and foothill grassland, growing at elevations from 10 to 740 meters. Adolphia californica is ranked 2B.1, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Seriously threatened in California.|
