Species Description:
Deinandra mohavensis, commonly known as Mojave tarplant, is a annual herb in the Asteraceae that is found only in California. It occurs within Chaparral, Coastal scrub, and Riparian scrub, growing at elevations from 640 to 1600 meters. Deinandra mohavensis is ranked 1B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened or Endangered in California and Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
