Juncus nodosus, commonly known as knotted rush, is a perennial rhizomatous herb in the Juncaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Marshes and swamps (lake margins), and Meadows and seeps (mesic), growing at elevations from 30 to 1980 meters. Juncus nodosus is ranked 2B.3, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Not very threatened in California.
