Carlowrightia arizonica, commonly known as Arizona carlowrightia, is a perennial deciduous shrub in the Acanthaceae that is found in California and elsewhere. It occurs within Sonoran desert scrub (granitic, alluvium, and sandy), growing at elevations from 285 to 430 meters. Carlowrightia arizonica is ranked 2B.2, Plants Rare, Threatened, or Endangered in California, But More Common Elsewhere; Moderately threatened in California.
